Hello! My name is Jen and I am just a little bit vintage farm girl and a little bit sophisticated elegance. Hence, the name "Mulberries & Mimosas." My sister-in-law once described my decorating style as "shabby elegant" and I feel that fits pretty well.I was blessed to inherit a basement full of vintage items that once belonged to my great-grandmother and grandmother. Since I am a decorative alrtist, I am transforming these pieces, one at a time, into works of art.
I am married to a manly-man who does CrossFit, hunts, and is even more handsome now than the day I married him nearly twenty years ago. I also have three boys aged 14, 13, and 11. With all that testosterone in the house, it's no wonder I need some beauty in my life!
Despite all the Legos, wadded up socks, and airsoft guns lying around the house, I try my best to create a beautiful, warm, and peaceful home and decorate with a lot of vintage items and old furniture I've refurbished with paint.
I love to travel the US and have been to France, once, in my teens. It's a dream of mine to go back soon. I also love to read, hike, garden, cook, paint, write, and work out with my husband.
